We would like to update you on a few things happening around the grounds for the remainder of April, May and early June.

These essential works are likely to cause the car park to become unavailable to hirers and the wider community.

As most people are aware we suffered flood damage back in 2022 and works on these areas have increased, to repair and open them back up to the public.

The library, Orchard room and History society have works started by numerous contractors. Work vans will need to park on the car park for easy access to unload tools and materials, possibility of skips also.

In the next comming weeks the library contents will be returning in big lorrys which will need to be on the car park to unload.

Also we will have the contents of the history society returning in lorrys once works are completed in the History Society.

Not only the flood damage being repaired we also have the public toilets being refurbished by the parish council, these works start on the 27th April, with materials being delivered on the Monday.

The public toilets will be closed for approximately 3 weeks.

We ask you only park in available bays and not park in the center of the car park blocking access to the hall or stopping deliverys from being delivered.

We are estimating these works will take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete.

We look forward to these works being completed and open up all areas back to the community as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and co-operation.

 Regards

 Jemma
