Funeral Wakes

With its close proximity to St Peter & St Paul Church, Wadhurst and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Commemoration Hall provides a facility for funeral wakes – from the small and select, to the larger event.

The Orchard Room gives a smaller space to gather and reflect, while the Main Hall can take up to 200 seated and has its own kitchen and serving hatch.

Main Hall

You are welcome to bring in your own caterers, as our fully equipped kitchen, with its ovens and fridges, complete with crockery, allows for catering onsite.

We provide all the tables and chairs, there is disabled access to the Main Hall, and a stage should a presentation be required.

Orchard Room

This room lends itself to a buffet style offering, with tables placed around the outside of the room, allowing attendees to gather in the centre to share remembrances. Alternatively, tables and chairs can be set out in groups, to enable guests to sit and reminisce. However you would like to honour the memory of your loved one, we can help you in providing the space and facilities.

If weather permits, there is also an ideal outside space overlooking the countryside around Wadhurst, ideal for those wanting a bit of air.
